BIR ePayment Facilities and 2023 Updated List of ePayment Channels
Tired of those long lines at the Revenue District Office or the Authorized Agent Banks (AABs), especially when you’d rather be doing more important things in the office? Well, you’re not alone. Fortunately, there’s a more convenient way to settle your taxes as we now pay through the BIR’s ePayment Channels.
Where to pay your taxes online?
Paying your taxes is a crucial responsibility, and knowing where to do it is important. The most common is to visit a BIR Revenue District Office (RDO) nearest to you. There, you can settle your tax dues in person. Alternatively, many banks and authorized agents accept tax payments over the counter.
If you prefer the convenience of online transactions, the BIR online payment system is your best friend. It allows you to pay your taxes from the comfort of your home or office using your bank account or mobile wallet.
With these options at your disposal, you can choose the method that suits your schedule and preferences best, making tax compliance a smoother journey.
Here is the 2023 updated list of ePayment Channels
1. Online Banking Channel
If you are using the BIR’s Electronic Filing and Payment System (eFPS), you are required to use the Online Banking Channel. You should have an online banking account to use this facility.

- MYEG Philippines, Inc. (www.myeg.ph)
Thru MYEG’s link, you can use Maya, GrabPay, and ShopeePay to settle your tax obligations. Debit or credit cards are also accepted.

NOTE: Based on the June 2, 2023 advisory, BIR temporarily disabled payment acceptance via the GCASH app.
It is fortunate that there are several tax payment options now available in the market. The BIR has simplified the process and left us with no excuse for avoiding or postponing payments. Keep in mind that not paying the right taxes can lead to significant penalties.
